Pilates Anytime Review

Pilates Anytime Review
Hi Everyone!

Today I thought I would do a Pilates Anytime review.

For those of you that don’t know, Pilates Anytime is a site that streams live Pilates classes for a small monthly fee – about the same amount you would pay for ONE class at a studio.

You get to work out live with top-notch instructors and you get new videos each and every day, so the variety is unbelievable.

Why Live Streaming Classes are So Awesome

Personally, I love live streaming classes. They are fun, challenging, and I never get bored.

I say this from experience, not with Pilates Anytime specifically, but with YogaVibes. I was a member of YogaVibes for about a year, and my favorite workouts were the Core Fusion workouts. They were killer, just like a live class. I only paid $19 bucks at the month, which was more than worth it for me because I could no longer afford the barre classes I had been taking.

At the time, I didn’t know Pilates Anytime even existed…maybe it didn’t. But had I known, I would have gone with Pilates Anytime instead. I am not a fan of Yoga, but I love Pilates and barre workouts.

On Pilates Anytime, Tracy Mallett (the creator of Booty Barre workouts) has a series of killer classes that alone will make the membership worth the money.

When I had my membership I found that it was really easy to stay motivated to work out because I felt like I was attending a live class – which is actually what I was doing. It’s a lot different than just doing a Pilates or barre DVD.

Don’t get me wrong, DVDs are really great for fat loss and toning, it’s just that if you’ve never had the opportunity to experience a live Pilates or barre class, you don’t know what you are missing. It really is something special, and something you long for – especially if you can no longer afford them ;)!

Challenge and High Intensity Makes it Hard NOT TO Get Results.

Live classes will challenge you like never before.

Both when I was attending live barre classes and when I had the online membership, my muscle tone improved dramatically and very fast.

I know I speak for many when I say that during live classes I tend to push myself much harder. The bar is much higher (no pun intended ;)) and so you have no choice but to work harder to meet that challenge. The result is a nice lean physique and muscle definition you can actually see when you look in the mirror ;).

Top 3 Advantages of Having a Pilates Anytime Membership

There are some really good reasons why I feel a Pilates Anytime membership is totally worth the low price tag:

  1. You can travel with your workouts. As long as you have a laptop and an internet connection, you can easily take your workouts with you anywhere you go. If you are stuck in a hotel room on business or on vacation, you won’t have to get behind on your workouts.
  2. You get to choose from a ton of studio quality classes. You get live, unlimited access to studio quality mat and reformer classes that you can do in the privacy of your own home. This was my favorite part about online classes – I didn’t have to spend time driving to a studio (the closest one is 15 minutes away). Also, being a new stay at home mom made it difficult for me to get to the classes. But the online classes were so convenient. As soon as baby fell asleep, I just walked over to my computer and pressed play. I was done in 45 minutes and I could get on with my day. And as I said before, I literally saw results in my muscle tone within the first five workouts. I had muscle soreness that no DVD could ever give me. Honestly, nothing compares to the intensity of live classes. If you want results, I highly recommend you give it a try.
  3. You can choose your level and pace. They’ve categorized the workouts based on intensity, so it’s very easy for you to determine what class suits your particular mood. You can go as intense as you want, or as relaxed as you want. You can also choose your level. So whether you are a beginner or a more advanced exerciser, you will be able to find plenty of workouts that fit your ability.

If you are someone who has done exercise DVDs for any amount of time, then you know how quickly you outgrow, especially when you are doing it consistently.

But when you have access to such a wide variety of workouts, you no longer have to worry about hitting a plateau or getting bored. You can start at the beginner level and move up from there.

Pilates Anytime does offer a FREE 15 say trial so that you can give the membership a test drive before you commit. If you can view YouTube videos on your computer, then you already have what you need to get started. You can get more details here.

      Hi Amanda,
Some yes, and some no. The mat classes do not require equipment. Thanks for visiting!
